Yue from Avatar: the last airbender This is the color version of a sketch  gave me some tips to clean it up.This is my first time majorly using textures in a piece and I have to say, I'm hooked. It makes digital painting sooo much faster and easier. So, i got my textures from Mayang. Took about 10 hrs (whoo gettin better!) and the file was so big, it almost killed my comp. Reference used to get her outfit right. I didn't include the flowy things in the background because I thought that they'd compete with the fish...so they're gone. Also, I couldn't tell if she had hair in the back or not, so too bad she has flowy hair. As always, I don't own avatar, that's copyrighted by nickelodeon. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
